The awaited free bus started today - Just heard from our Costa Blanca forum - Please use it or we may lose it, like the others!

I was walking into town this morning when it pulled in by the shoe shop and there was no-one on it.

wish there was a bus service from Alicante airport to Rojales area ...save me hiring a car !

Sounds good until there are 3 or 4 of you as it's 18 euro per person and it does not stop door to door like a taxi (Taxi is 45€ if booked in advance). The shuttle only stops at the arches in Quesada and quite a few stops in between.

The Airport bus (Alicante Airport to Torrevieja) would be ideal if it would only stop in Quesada and Rojales but it doesn't. As has been said before , it passes Consum area on the by-pass on every trip each hour of its daily schedule!!!

I have seen beniconnect bus pass by consum car park. ..would be good if it would make that a stop

My brother uses bus from airport to Torrevieja it only costs him 7 Euro

The taxis are good when they work coming out waiting at Arrivals - all good.
Going back didn't turn up - he said "the driver came out and at the top of the road was a couple waiting for a taxi so he took them to the Bus station" whereas he had our address and knew we were for the airport.
Others have told me they are a bit hit & miss as well.

I have never been let down by taxis to the airport... or anywhere else for that matter

I always use Miguel taxi number 3 .. Quesada taxis...he is very reliable..
