If you go to the clinic in La Siesta they do it all for you & its only €40but you do need passport fotos phone or pop in for an appointment you might get one there & then & they all speak english so no translator needed, Cheers Doug.

We use Matt at one way services for everything licence/wills/sip cards.Very reasonable and on the ball. Passport photos are not acceptable for licence. We got them taken at post room Benijofar behind church[smaller than passport]. You get temporary one then valid one in 3-5 weeks. Matt takes you down to Cartagena for medical and test so everything included.

Isn't that just for the renewal of a Spanish licence when it expires or when you get, like me, old?
The OP is asking to change a UK one for a Spanish one, not simply a renewal.

We were told that when exchanging UK licences for Spanish you have your medical and have to go to tráfico yourself. Only when you renew your Spanish licence will they complete the change for you.
