New Amazon Locker

I presume this is where Amazon can drop off parcels for you to collect. It is a big, yellow box next to the petrol station at the Arches. Don't ask me how it works but would be good for people who struggle to have anything delivered to their address.

It’s very simple to use.
You select delivery to the locker rather than to your home address.
The courier puts your parcel in the locker and you get an email or SMS to tell you that your parcel is ready for collection and gives you an access code.
You go to the locker, tap in your access code and one of the doors will pop open so you can take your stuff.

Pete.

I don't have a problem with deliveries but I know other people do so it is great to have a local pick up point.

How would I direct my deliveries to this box ? Does it have an address?

Add a locker to your delivery addresses in your Amazon account details.
It will ask you if you want to choose a drop off point. Click that and it will search for a locker once you have put your postcode in.
Then select deliver to this address.
Maximum size for packages are 19x14x12 inches

I had thought these were just post offices but if there's one by the garage then they must have rolled out other collection points.

They are brilliant, we've used the one at Guardamar and you have a good few days to collect your parcel. No need to wait in for the courier. Excellent service

Will Amazon know if the packaging falls within the maximum size allowed to fit in the lockers? I have had many items delivered from Amazon that have arrived in ridiculously over-sized boxes in relation to what is inside them.

I can relate to that. I had DVD player sent over that measured 21 x 27 x 9 cm (8.2 x 10.6 x 3.25 inches).
The box it came in was 54 x 40 x 15 cm (21 x 15.7 x 6 inches). The rest of the box was taken up by packing paper and would have been over the size for the locker.
