Yes, on main street in coming from Benijofar going towards the Stone Bridge. past the cemetery, past policia locale, before Telfy.Big sign outside saying Psicotechnica. Open Mondays and Thursdays 4.30pm to 7.30 pm. No appointment needed. You turn up , there's people all sitting around in a Spanish queuing system - the one where you need to ask who's the last person in queue, then note yourself as the one after them. I went last week. Got there just after 4.30, loads of folk already there, had to wait for about 40minutes. The tests etc only took about 10 mins. Blood pressure, few health questions re medication etc, a short ( very simple) eye test , hearing test . Then pic taken and the pesky computer game, which was a wee bit harder than I expected ( am not a big computer game player...) the darn thing kept beeping, my score came in about 5000 which I thought it was dreadful but the chap assured me that was fine. Then all done.

Again, Shiva, do they do the licence renewal for you? I know there is one in Torrevieja that does the photographs, the medical and completes the licence renewal application and sends it off.
Does the one in Rojales do something similar?
('Er indoors is coming up to 70 and will have to renew her Spanish licence in a couple of months. Just wondering what the complete procedure is).

Yes, the fail point ius 10,000 points, so i suspect 5000 is the Median point. I was told most peopel score 4000 - 6000 which must be one standard deviation each side . So my score of 624 is about 7 standad deviations, must put me in the fastest 0.1% :O

whos says playing computer games would never be any use... :D

Sorry Marcliff I don't know. I thought I saw an earlier poster on here suggesting they did. But I've got someone taking all my stuff to trafico this week for the driving licence switch who specialises in this sort of thing and I'll ask him if he knows which ones do that for you.

Followed up on this - got my driving licence sorted this week by Torrievieja Translators for me - asked about Marcliff's question- here's the reply
"Most of the medical centres will complete and send off for your renewal at a small extra fee on top of the medical costs. You can usually pick this up from them a few weeks later, I also believe you are given temporary paperwork to drive in the interim.

I know our partner centre in Torrevieja does offer this service. I believe Rojales also offer this however could not confirm for certain. "

When the forms are submitted to Elche Police Station, you get a form back from the Police that says thay have your driving licence which is why you cant show it, and lkets you off the hook if stopped. Then you new licence turns up about 6 weeks later (at the moment)
