I don’t know if she is at her desk just inside the Townhall on thr right but I know she is there on Mondays because I went there on Monday last week and it took about 5 minutes to complete the process.
Very simple process and helpful lady

And I went on Tuesday at about 11.45 am and she was there, no queue and she was really helpful. Also would flag she seemed to appreciate I had brought a photocopy of all the necessary documents so she didn't have to make copies.

Is this a FULL sip card or just an exchange for the ehic?

It' not an exchange for EHIC but supplements it and as long as you are on the padron, is temporary but renewable when it expires.
If you have your S1 transferring your primary health care to Spain, she will send it off for you to the INSS and arrange your permanent one.

Apparently she is there every day but she does have ( long :D ) tea breaks and one day I went and a sign " she was not there today " so you just have to go and see ;)

Went today armed with every bit of paper required, nice friendly lady in attendance. We recently got our Residency and was the first time to apply for our SIP Card. She was unable to issue it and we were told that we have to go to Instituto Nacional de la Seguridad in Torrevieja. My post is to warn people not to go to Rojales if applying for the first time. It would seem you have to attend Torrevieja, has anyone else done this?
