Looks awful! For once, I’m glad I was in England!

Yes we had a lot of rain but flooding only occurs if there are no drains to carry the water away. It is about time that the Regional Government spent some money and invested in a decent drainage system in Torrevieja.

So true!
This area is well known for flooding in very heavy rain. There should be a campaign by the local people to get a decent drainage system set up to stop this happening. The shops like Carrefour plus all the others that it affects could also use their status to get involved. Amazing that it is just left until the next time it happens!
