Tomorrow two of us are heading for rebate restaurant, between torremendo and torre de la horadada, this may not be much use to u as I’ve not been before lol, I know, so maybe ignore me. But I’ve been told by different people, it has authentic local entertainment, as in something like banjo players walking around and sometimes dancers, as we dine.

I`d rather have my Sunday lunch in peace and quiet. I fact I`d rather have any meal in peace and quiet then listen to entertainment .. but not while I`m eating ... :D

Banjo players.... er ..no thanks ....

It is beautiful at Restaurante Rebate and the food is excellent, but at 24.50€ for Sunday menu del dia it is not cheap. All drinks are extra. We went again last Sunday. The musicians were good and did not interfere with dining. To call them banjo players is a bit of a put down. Three very skilled guys playing Spanish music on three different stringed instruments. One classical large Spanish guitar, one ukele and yes also a banjo.

Sounds wonderful to me.
Enjoy your lunch and perhaps someday, we may decide to drive over and find this little oasis and sample the fare ourselves.
Please give directions from Torrevieja.
Thank you.

I'd rather have Sunday lunch at home, can't stand pub entertainers
