Anyone else in the La Fiesta area getting a nasty smell drainage or sewer by the smell? It’s outside not in my house.

Do you have farming land in the vicinity? If so. It's what we used to call muck spreading. Having watched a recent programme about Sewage Works we realise it's not a myth about using human waste in farming.

No not near only see houses all around.

You want to think yourselves lucky don't know if you saw
last week's Euro Weekly if you did read it then you will know we have to put up with next door neighbour watering his plants with human sewage waste he broke into the main pipe don't need to tell you the smell is horrendous!!

There is a "gully sucker" crew doing the rounds, cleaning out the sewers. They seem to be sucking out the silt, and jetting. When they did the manholes near me, it stank for a couple of days.

Thanks hopefully it will be gone soon.

they are only allowed to spread treated slurry sewerage on land ,and at a specific time of year,raw sewerage spreads disease,

In the uk human sludge has to be injected into the ground , and all animal manure has to be ploughed in within 24 hrs of spreading ..!!! .

I don't wish to get into a war of words , but were I live in the uk animal manure does not have to be ploughed in , and human slurry sewerage is spread on top and the rain washes it in , a lot of land is,nt ploughable, and grazing pastures/meadows are exactly that , I,ve worked on farms,may be different were you come from , and could be totally different in spain

Could smell it when I went out about 1030 this morning
