Hi, We currently have a electricity capacity of 5.75kw and when we have all of our appliances on, the electricity trips. We are told that we can increase our electricity supply to 9kw, but we need a boletin, which is a certificate that an approved electrician can supplied, which states that the electricity supply is safe. Has anyone had to obtain one before and can anybody recommend and approved electrician. Any idea how much this will costs? Thanks.

I think I you have to get a qualified electrician but you could pop to Iberdrola office in Guardamar or Almoradi to make sure. You do realise your standing charge will increase?
I have 5.75 and rarely have a problem only if I put the hairdryer on whilst two aircon units are runnin

Rob at Don Aluminio Building sorted ours out the guy came round inspected wiring filled in forms a few days later we received completed Boletin by email you then go to Iberdrola office and have to pay 60 euros for each level you want to increase, the electrician will advise which is the maximum level depending on the incoming mains supply. I think the cost was around 170 euros for inspection & Boletin.

Daniel Snell 697543723 comes highly recommended on the .co.uk forum
He is an English chap and is a fully qualified Spanish Electrician who can issue you with the Boletín. He has done upgrades for several people on the forum and he is not a rip off merchant.
