Recessed Ceiling Lights

I have recessed ceiling lights that have a small transformer that installs behind each bulb.
I am having trouble obtaining the bulbs that I have traditionally used, as they seem to have been replaced by an LED version.
These new bulbs fit fine and initially work fine but after a while they start flickering. Does anyone know why, please?
Does anyone know where I can buy the original bulbs please?
Leroy and AKI do not have them.

The flickering could be caused by the transformer being rated at a higher wattage then the new LED lamps. Take a look at the lamp’s packaging to determine its power requirements and check this against the transformer’s label. Low wattage transformers are quite cheap in the UK (about £6) but I’m not sure what they are here

Try Pablo Espinosa on the industrial estate in Torrevieja, they are normally very good. It's more or less down the side road where the Ford garage is but you can't go down that way, as it's one way, you'd have to go another route but you could park in the carpark by the Shell garage/Chino bazar and walk down.

Will go to Pablo Espinosa and see what they've got. Thanks again. Mick.

Much cheaper to dump the 12 volt transformers and bulbs, change bulb holders and bulbs to LED 230 volt units. Will last longer and cheaper to run. I can assist you if you wish. Send me PM if you would like me to help.
