Hi there. I have broken my ankle badly and am using a wheelchair. Does anyone know the rules here re using disabled parking spaces when I don’t have a blue badge? Will we be fined? If there is alternative parking to the blue spaces we use them but sometimes the other spaces are too far away or up kerbs etc. Thanks.

Blue badges only. Just like UK.
You can be fined up to €200 for using one without a badge.
I should think you'd get away with it in a supermarket car park but a definite no-no anywhere else.

Having to use A wheelchair on several occasions, I understand your problem, Quesada and around is a nightmare for high curbs dodgy pavements etc..
