Hi folks
Just to advise, there’s a problem this morning with air traffic control system in France. Our pilot advised. Apparently no planes flying south from the uk due to this. We are currently sitting waiting on the tarmac in Edinburgh for a departure slot. Were scheduled to leave at 7:30am, no sign of a new departure time.

I have checked Alicante’s arrival schedule and there were 2 flights coming from Edinburgh, Jet 2 and a Ryanair, both have planned but no mention of in flight so I think you may still be on the tarmac or perhaps you took off just before the 2 hour deadline for claims. Such a shame but hopefully you will be up, up and away!
Lots of UK flights seem to have been delayed and others as well.

It's some kind of power outage it seems, affecting French and Spanish Airspace. A lot of delays and some cancellations - link to BBC news report here. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-49541972
