Agree with that and cause flys etc

The one problem is that, when you phone the council, they will tell you to leave the item by the green bins at such and such a place. That means you will have the stuff there for at least a day but, judging by the speed they do the pick ups, it could be a few days.

Still, at least it will be collected eventually.

We have never been asked to leave thing to be picked up by the council by the bin ...it has always been outside our house...the permit is easy and free to get for useding the dump near the aquapark in Quesada..i have seen garden waste outside by bins not 100 yards from the tip ...so yes it is lazy people..or fly tippers...

If you live on a community (especially a gated one) it is very difficult to leave things outside your house.
I've had a couple of things to be collected and it's always been leave it by the bin area outside the community.

But, agreed, some lazy people around and it is very easy to take things by car to the dump, especially garden waste.

I agree completely with scubydoo post. Not infrequently we see 3 piece suites, bedding etc left by the bin, probably left during the night... this is tantamount to fly tipping. Even garden rubbish can be cut into sizes to fit in the bin. Don't blame the Spanish, they do not have the monopoly on this!
