Volunteers urgently needed to help care for the cats in the Torrevieja municipal pound. The town hall does not provide staff to run this shelter, leaving all the work to volunteers and there are nowhere near enough. Without volunteers the cats are in danger of being left uncleaned and unfed. Could you spare a morning? Weekday and weekend volunteers urgently needed. Message or email [email protected]. We are desperate for help.

Thank you Benijofarmike ...for your offer to put it on the radio ..things have been very hard for the volunteers these last two months what with little or no help from the council to run there own shelter, we had to repair roofs( this was done for us by a lovely lady called Liza , she also took all the young and ill kittens and cats that where housed outside in cages all at her own expense the day of the floods ) and replace bedding .plus many more young sick kittens brought in after the floods .. all the volunteers and animals wish to thank you for your help .

I think we are now ok for bedding it is just help with cleaning and feeding and giving cuddles to the cats also dog walkers needed ...Thanks
