If people recycled more it would help, particularly when you see a bin full of large plastic water containers, cans and cardboard.

I’ve no objection to card and plastic in the bins if no provision, by the council, for recycling is nearby. But why can’t people collapse boxes and crush water bottles rather that occupy the space in the bin with, what amounts to, as volumes of air.

I agree, also I’ve noticed that the recycling bin don’t seem to be emptied as frequently as before. I assume this is the result of cost cutting somewhere although I’m not sure how we pay for the service.

Of course it is a result of cost cutting. How else can they raise money ot pay for the over spending on fiestas fireworks cycle races etc.
