Can anyone give me the current rate please and wether there is a restriction on the amount of currency you can change up?

At Eurochange you get 114.5 today and 115 if you change over 1000 quid. Im not sure about the restrictions but banks have something to say if it's over 5000 I think so maybe give them a call and ask. This is the website: https://eurochange.es/en/office/see/cha ... a-alicante and this is the telephone no. 615403877. It's normally around 2 and a half cents less than you see as the commercial rate from these exchanges.

Transferwise 1.17 today.

Transferwise currently 1.18217, with a fee for exchanging £500 at just £2.10p. This was at 19.10pm, best I’ve seen it for at least two years !! Hope u get the deal you want
