We are interested in moving to this area. What is the best area Rojales etc to move to which is not totally enclosed by other houses.we do not mind neighbours!!!! but a lot of the villas we have seen have other villas to the side and back and front of them. We have a dog and we fear she will bark a lot with so many people around the villa

Maybe better off buying out of the town's and inland,, get bigger plot.less chance of neighbors complaining

I'm afraid Polop has a good point. Unless you buy a large villa with a large plot ( 3O0 -350k euro mark+), you will always have people walking past/ living close next door etc.By large plot I mean at least 500sqm. These tend to be older houses, built in the earlier days of Quesada when the developers weren't quite so greedy about squeezing houses into small spaces. Central Quesada, the Painters roads and Calle Valencia way has a good few. The very top of Benimar as well. Buying in the countryside will be cheaper of course.It's great you are being considerate of people re the dog barking, not everyone is so considerate.

Another tip would be to look for a corner plot, which reduces the neighbours on all sides. But tbh, most important for you moving is to pick the area you like, whether you want to be in easy walking distance( 10 mins on foot) of bars, restaurants etc or are willing to drive everywhere. If you pick the area to suit your needs, you will find the right house. For walking distance you need to be : Bottom area round golf course, but property restricted there mainly to quads/ semi detacheds/ apartments...; around the LA Vida bar area of Dona Pepa ( walking to La Vida area bars, pharmacy, supermarket, also La Taberna bar comes within reach ), Consum complex area of Lo Marabu; Central Quesada, Benimar / Rojales Hills ( though top of Benimar/ Rojales Hills might seem a bit far after a night out, bottom end of Benimar near the Cemetery better...). Obviously loads of new sugar cube houses in good locations in Benijofar but these are DEFINITELY all squeezed together on small plots and strike me ( IMHO) as expensive for what they are. Better value and usually bigger plots on resale houses rather than new build. But good luck with your search.

Our new neighbor got a dog who barked at us whenever we were near, so we talked to him, and gave him dog treats. Now he no longer barks at us but sits wagging his tail waiting for treats. He is absolutely adorable

Perhaps the dig trainers also run proof reading classes

The question was about moving to Quesada so let us help this person on the question without diverting.

Depending on your budget you can get areas in Quesada that have larger plots and how they are laid out people walking by won't be a problem but you will still have neighbours. It is all about outside living so there will be people around. My dog barks and I say no to stop her then call her in. It is about courtesy to neighbours. Many have dogs barking near me but again it is short as owners bring the dog in or do a command to stop. Try not to overthink it. A dog protects our homes and as long as not constant barking they get used to the different noises.
