O/P, the other thing to take into consideration when looking at buying locally versus importing directly from the UK, is, besides the high prices of the cars here, the complete lack of any Spanish service history, and when you look at the claimed mileage on most cars I've seen, all you can do is shake your head in disbelief.
At least if you bring a car in from the UK, it's history and regular maintenance are far more likely to be genuine.
There's my 2c worth anyway.

Send an email to
[email protected] and ask them to send you information on the CarSharing Option. You will get the information by return.

We bought a left hand drive car in the UK and then drove down as a holiday and registered the car in Spain. This where we bought our car and you can test drive them in the UK.

A quick thank you for assistance on here, signed up with Seguro and on the face of it looks like I’ll save a fair few euro

We also have sold our car to Seguro and signed up for the deal. We arrive on Tuesday to pick it up and know the details of the car etc. It all sounds good and hopefully will be. It seems like a new venture for them. They always have been very efficient and helpful when we parked our car with them. The fact that you can get a 7 seater for family is a bonus.
