Hi, just wondered if anyone knows if Amazon deliveries are getting through?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, I've had deliveries and I'm due one on Wednesday this week. I think it depends on the courier though, if it's Correos it may not be delivered as I believe they are closed at the moment but Correos Express and the other couriers were working fine.

We collected a parcel from Rojales Correos yesterday. Haven't see the delivery bikes around though.

Articles out there explaining that Amazon are to stop delivery of non-essential items in Italy and France, to keep their couriers safe, as well as consumers due to the handling and potential contamination of boxes etc.

I suspect Spain won't be far behind, so just think about those couriers etc. if ordering non-essential.

Keep safe all.

Thanks. How do you go about requesting a delivery there as opposed to your home? I need meds for my dog that I can only buy on-line, but to be honest I doubt the trip to collect them would be classed as essential travel, and having just read about the fines are for non-essential trips I think I’ll have to think of an alternative!

Thanks. I guess it’s worth a go then.

Hola this not meant to be rude or insulting, if you read the B O S or the Royal Decree that the Spanish Government is telling you to make only essential journeys, please stay in your hame as the Health Department is saying WE MIX WE SPREAD WE DIE, it so simple these are times when we have to stay home unless the need to go out is absolute necessary , the police will not take i have a parcel at the post office as a excuse to go out you are putting lives at risk and now you wiil if like Torrevieca get a fine of a rounnd 1000 euros and if two people in the car then double this is fact. As said at the beginning this for your safety and everyone else.

No offence taken. Don’t worry I won’t go and collect a parcel, I completely realise the importance of staying home!
