I've never used 'Just Eat' so don't really know how it works. But I have seen a UK TV prog' some time back which suggested you don't know where the food is actually cooked/ prepared.

Is that right ?

When u click on Just Eat it offers a range of restaurants near u so I assume u will be ordering from the restaurant u choose. But like you not used em yet so not sure.

I believe the issue in the UK is that the food is prepared in locations that have not been approved by the food & hygiene dept.

There was an expose on UK TV a few months back. Deliveroo and Lets Eat have their own kitchens, usually in portacabins on waste ground under railways/flyovers. They produce the menus of participating restaurants/chains but, because of loopholes, are not regulated by the Food Safety Standards offices of Local Authorities.

If you order, using a participating restaurants menu, you might believe that your food is being prepared by that chain and to the advertised standards of that restaurant but.......
