We opened a Spanish and UK N26 last year. I have used the Spanish account regularly and had no issues and great because no maintenance fees. Initially we thought it would be a benefit to have both a UK and Spanish N26 account and link them in some way but there was no real way to do this. So I never really used the UK one. The UK account is now closed as N26 do not have a license to operate in the UK after Brexit as they are based in Germany so this was no great loss to me. They have closed all UK accounts. We have had no communications to say we cannot have the Spanish N26 after Brexit and hopefully this won't be an issue!

Yes you need a Spanish address for a Spanish account. The terms of the account differ slightly from country to country even within Europe. All communications and app in English and easy to use.

They are a German bank but will correspond in English, Spanish, German and more.

With regard to Brexit, it's just the same as a non Spanish resident having a Spanish bank account. I suppose it's possible that at some time in the future, UK residents may be bared from holding any European bank accounts but I can't really see that happening. How would you pay your bills?

The Spanish address can be a mail drop address. We have communal mailboxes which aren't very secure, so we used a local shop which will accept mail. The address is only for your debit card as all other dealings are all online.
