Parking ticket in Guardamar

We received a parking ticket today. We had paid the fee in the machine but the ticket had fallen on the seat from the front window, I presume. We have the paid ticket purchased about 30 mins before the ticket was issued.
Does anyone know what we can do?
The only thing we can understand from the info on the back of the ticket is that if we wish to pay the fine we should go to a police station.
Many thanks

If you go onto the SUMA site, you can pay online. Pay it quickly and you get a 50% reduction. You need to enter the fine number in order to pay it.

I don't think you read that correctly, they had purchased a parking ticket but it had slipped from the windscreen & out of sight. They are asking how to get the parking fine annulled.

I don't think they can get it annulled, it would clearly state on the ticket that it must be displayed. The offence is, I believe, one of failure to display a valid parking ticket.

Suprised about that, how can they disprove you didn’t have the ticket on show, when you have the actual ticket. I shouldn’t even have to say this but, my suggestion is, go to police station, and tell them the ticket was on the dash but was over looked, so the parking ticket was wrongly issued. See what they say.

I think that Espanabums is probably correct, that ticket could be anyone’s, maybe they have cameras as well showing that there was no ticket on display. Been caught myself in the UK, I now always check that the ticket is visible after the doors are shut in case it has moved when the wife slams the door.

Personally I wouldn’t be going to the police station to tell them the ticket was on display and overlooked, when it clearly wasn’t. If they did take a photo on their mobile, that puts you in a whole worse position.

One of those times you just have to pay and put it down to experience.

The double negatives of disprove and didn't resolve to 'how can they prove you did have the ticket on show'!

Since by his own admission the ticket was not properly displayed there is no argument to be made for anulling it.
