FAULTY GOODS

Hi all. We have failed to resolve an issue with a company, who have supplied a faulty item. We understand there is a procedure to follow about asking to see their complaints book. Has anyone gone down this route who can guide us about what to do? If so what does it entail & what result does this have? Does this have to be done through a Solicitor, or can we quote this ourselves? Then what happens next?Thank you in advance.
