Has anyone had or got water pipes above ground i have had 2 floods with under ground pipes going into under build. I have had a quote to have overhead pipes but be interested if anyone has had this done and does it work okay.
Thanks for any answers in advance.

Yes we have above ground water pipes because of a water leak and high bill. The only problem being the cold water cones out hot in the summer. It needs a covering. But I Believe since we had ours done a few years back the pipework is better insulated now.

Yes we were the same. Had 2 bursts and large water bill. Now all above ground but as Chrisdee said the water does get hot in the summer but easily managed. At least if you have a leak it is visible.

Just be aware that some rats have a taste for the rubber / plastic that these pipes are made of . Friends of mine and a lot of the neighbours in El Raso had the pipes in the void under their front patios that was chewed through in 6 + places and another friend had his iragation pipes in the garden chewed..

Have you thought about the unipipe which is used for underfloor heating it has a metal core in it, top quality material believe it has 4-5 layers made in Germany, if rats are poisoned they will gnaw through plastic guaranteed
