Our Swedish neighbour arrived in Torrevieja in mid September and left again late May. In the 22 years of her owning her little maisonette, nobody questioned her. Sadly, she hasn’t returned since Covid and us now living in a nursing home in Sweden.

Sad yes, but Sweden has been in both the EU and Schengen for over 22 years so you wouldn't expect her stays to have been questioned.
