Hi,
Hope someone can help me. I've signed up for this race for next week but where it starts is sketchy on their map and on Google maps the start line covers a wide area so cant pinpoint it. Have tried to contact the organisers but no luck. Am driving to it as live 10k away so wanted to know where to park, etc. Were taking a dummy run on Monday but if anyone knows the area can help I'd be very grateful. Of all the races I've entered this is the worst for giving directions and information if you dont know the area. I will not give up......even if I arrive whilst they all run past me!

It says start and finish at malecon del soto or mal. Del soto on google maps. If you know rojales its the area where the market is held next to the river segura. The races i have watched from rojales usually start and finish there. They normally have tents etc set up there. Hope this helps.

Hi,
Thanks for your help. I knew it was Malecon del Soto as the start and finish but didn't know exactly where as on Google maps it showed up as a road. Don't know Rojales but a friend also said by the market so I'll take a drive out next week. Ta

It could be the bridge end of the carpatk with registrations there, but may also be beside the small park (near where it says Deputation building on map).
Suggest you park in carpark and follow the crowd :)

Thanks for that and the map. Makes it a lot clearer when I can actually see it :)
I'll try to make sure I dont get lost while running the course, lol!

I ran this race a few years ago and it started and finished in the area of the children's playpark on the South side of the river. Don't worry, it's easy to find and everyone else will be going there to pick up their numbers.
It is very well organised and there is no way you can get lost. Enjoy.

Hi all
Where can I find info on this race? Is it for pleasure or for charity?

Thanks.

Hi, Martin has given you the correct info and I registered via www.chiplevante.com by entering the race details. It's not for charity and is limited to 300 runners. There will obviously be running clubs and serious runners but there will also be people like me doing it for pleasure and only competing with myself. Come and join in as I'm sure it will be fun :)
