Hi quite often I go into the Habaneras shopping centre and there are reps from Curenergía the electric company , has anyone used them to change their plans and what was your experience good or bad?
I have difficulty in understanding why a company would employ some one to stand around a shopping centre trying to get people to pay their company less money?

Quite right to be suspicious.
We signed up to this lot at Leroy Merlin in La Zenia earlier in the year, promised cheaper leccy. When we got home we compared their price to our most recent bills and found we would be paying more.
We should have checked this before signing up, we had only gone there because of a personal recommendation.
Went back next day to get restored to our previous standard tariff.
Then got charged €12 by Iberdrola for setting up as a new customer after having been with them for 20 years!
My advice is to steer well clear of these cowboys that have stands in shopping centres.
Of course now that bills are even more complicated to understand it is even easier for them to pull the wool over peoples' eyes.
