I think Kaz123 is referring to the Protección Electrical Hogar, which IS utterly pointless (from my experience!)!

I agree the home electrical protection (white goods) is pretty pointless,it’s also €8 45 a month now,that’s over €100 per year.Especially when you read about peoples experiences trying to claim,Can’t understand why chef lady was asked for payment ,when it’s meter that’s faulty,you pay rent for meter you don’t own it.
