Having lived in Donna Peppa, Lo Marabu for many years, I have never ever come across so many weeds growing between the roads and pavements. The area has always been kept clean and tidy and the roads even swept, but non of this has been carried out of late.
What has happened to this area.

Well there is an option if the council don't have the time and resources to do it?

But I daren't say it?

How about setting up a community team to deal with it?

Don’t worry, the weeds will get sorted 3 months before the next local elections.

Is it because of of all the rain then the sunshine that's a very good combination for weed growth

I kill the weeds outside my house by pouring boiling water on them. 24 hours their all dead. No great labour involved.

It's because the councils don't care. They're happy to take the padron money, but won't use it for anything until the week before the election, as the above poster said.

I weeded in front of my house yesterday, took me all of 3 minits, surely you can spare that,
Councils do a lot round the area for the small amount of property tax we/you pay.
