Spam bank messages

Has anyone else had spam messages supposedly from your bank saying that your account will be blocked from tomorrow for security reasons and to click on the link to re-activate it just minutes after paying by card at a certain Chinese restaurant by the Laguna hotel?
I didn't click on the link but it seems too much of a coincidence.

I am sure you have done right by not clicking on to link. If you can, get in touch with your bank this morning, either in person or TP and check with them. I would also,in the meantime, block my card if you are on digital banking. Sounds really dodgy !
Hope you get it sorted out. Was not too keen on that restaurant anyway !
