My husband has to renew his driving licence soon

Where is the place in Rojales that he can do this and when is it open as I think it is only open a couple of evenings per week?

TIA

Yes its on the same side as Telfry office about 50 meters further up,call Pyrocentics or something like that .Only open Mondays and Thursdays i think 4.15 ish till 7.30ish. First come first served so take note who is in front of you. doctor first medication and eyesight tests then to another office for a rather silly co ordenation test.pay your 40 euro ( it was when i went last year) give guy your old licence and with a bit luck he will give u a piece of paper to cover you in case stopped till your licence comes in the post,Good luck one point its very hard to get parked i had a fair hike.

If parking is so difficult then perhaps you should make an appointment for the clinics in La Siesta which has plenty of parking outside

La Siesta medical centre do it all for you for 40 euros. For an extra 10 you can have it delivered to the medical centre for you to pick up. That way it doesn´t ´get lost in the post´. Plenty of parking outside. You will have to complete the various ´tests´for hearing, co-ordination and eyesight. Open I think until 2pm daily (check on line).

I believe you'll find it's DGT who issue the temporary paper not the licence clinics.

Once again if you have the MiDGT app your licence is in that in legally presentable form so in theory you don't need the paper, or for that matter your actual licence!

HI...It is the licence clinics that issue a justificante in case your licence takes x months to be renewed. My licence is being renewed via La Siesta and they have issued me two papers ...one paper says I have passed the tests and the other is a six month temp licence.

My error then, not had to renew yet.
Does the paper really say 6 months, thought they were only good for 3, that was the case when we exchanged our licences for Spanish in 2020?

Have got the MiDGT app though :text-lol:

Hi...checked so that I am not ill informing anyone...The paper says 'Autorizacion Temporal Para Conducir' Valido hasta 09/2024. So yes six months.
