I'm buying a place near the golf course and will be coming out for a few days to do paperwork etc. Are there any hotels nearby I could use as a base while in the area?

I think the only actual hotel in the area is La Laguna hotel in Dona Pepa Quesada but that's not very near the Golf Course.

Theres a hotel attached to the petrol station in rojales,its across the road from mas y mas.

There is a hotel overlooking the golf course in Pueblo Lucero, it is now called the Hotel Costa Blanca, used to be called the Corathon. Has quite a lot of facilities on site and fabulous views of the surrounding vistas. Has a superb swimming pool, large Gym, crazy golf, and other activities.

That's interesting - I thought this hotel was still closed as it has opened & closed a few times over the years.

I think you'll find Hotel Costa Blanca Resort is closed...
There is a phone number on the gate, but that is always locked when I pass.
There are some self-catering apartments with direct street access, so maybe these may be available?

That's what I thought, in the first place, but maybe we need some further confirmation as to what's happening there??

Yes Jan it would be good to know if it's open or closed. I see Booking.com are still offering places. I tried some dates on the Booking.com site and was told my dates are not available but was offered alternative dates!!

They have 7 apartments fully self-service and the rest are hotel rooms, They are open. Just spoke with them.
