where is the nearest RC church to Dona Pepa.cheers.

There's a newish one. If you come onto Dona Pepa from the Lemon Tree run with the La Laguna hotel on your right, drive down to the roundabout and it's here on the left.

Hi Tommy. KimmiRocks is correct the church is Inglasia San Jose and is part of the parish in Rojales. Service times 10.30 on a Sunday morning and 6 or 7 oclock on a Thursday evening. The evening service changes dependent on the time of year. If you come up the road from Hotel la Laguna to the first roundabout we are on the left of this roundabout. Maybe see you on Sunday?

Trevor,seen it on google earth and it looks like it is being built at the moment,coming over in October and we will certainly be there,maybe bump into you right enough.

It was inaugurated in August 2011 so Google Earth probably a bit behind the times.

Marcliff - you seem to be the font of all knowledge (I love reading your posts ). Do you know if any of the services are in English? I would love to attend a service when over but, as I'd be on my own, I'm a bit shy about walking in and finding I don't understand the service!

Hi EnglishRose. The services are in Spanish, but the Gospel reading after it is read in Spanish is then read in either English, French or German. There are English translation sheets for the readings, so you at least know what has been said if it's not the English Gospel week. Each nationality gets to hear the Gospel at least once per month in their own tongue. All bidding prayers are repeated in Spanish, English, French & German each week.
