Try the link below if you register which is free it tells you the different companies on offer when you have done your search I always used Centuro as they are on the airport, I have not used this for some time but I always got the best deal through them and they were voted best car hire broker by WHICH. ;)

Simple.. Use www.doyouspain.com
So cheap and great service, just watch the usual insurance and petrol cons with all hire companies.
Good luck

do you Spain is very cheap, yes I agree watch the fuel cost and also allow for insurance, we pay an annual insurance waiver here in the uk which was £40 but still had to take theirs, we are coming next week and paid 3euros for 4 days but do anticipate about 20 euros insurance, also you never get the choice of car you chose, you do get a decent car though

You do not have to take anyone's extra insurance, it is optional. they will try and sell you theirs of course. but I always say no. They may block an amount from your Credit Card but , so far I have got this back without issue.

Hi there

We came over to Quesada last year and hired a car via Centauro. We had done lots of research beforehand.
We looked at the usual cheaper carhire companies at airport and also using local ones when in quesada area. We had quotes from several local companies and found that it was much cheaper to hire at and return to airport. Depends on what you want to pay and any risks you need to take into account for peace of mind. We were very happy with the car we hired, the service, the return process etc. As we had taken out insurance cover in UK (as per advice on forum) we declined extra cover at airport. We knew they would 'hold' or 'block' credit card with a set amount. Two days after returning to UK we rang credit card company to see what had happened. Centauro had only taken details of card. They did not block or hold any amount - so happy with that. Take your time and Shop around. Happy holidays

I have succesfully used Drivalia (2 mins off airport) 3 times in the past year and have booked again for next week. I have always done so via www.doyouspain.com. I simply choose the options I want on the left hand side of their results web page and always plump for fuel full/full. It is hassle free as long as you have a credit card to put a hold deposit on their insurance, A good cheap car excess insurance policy from your own country and the ability to give them a firm "no, I don't want your daily excess insurance policy" (astronomical costs).

The amount of people I see everytime i've been there who have paid 25€ or less for one week car hire and arguing over the fuel & insurance policy's when they get stung is astonishing. Do your homework and you'll be fine.

When I booked car hire for late January 2016 I did so in November 2015 - At that time the price for hire of a Fiat 500 was approx 9 cents a day or around 15 cents for a Ford Focus. 63 cents for one weeks car hire surely sets off alarm bells. I eventually booked a Fiat 500L for 60€+ (came to £46.52 GBP) full/full and additional driver free - nothing more to pay other than fuel top up before I return car.

Current prices for March/April are very high. I'm looking to book last week in March 2016.
