When travelling to Yorkshire from Kent I try to get to the tunnel before 6am whilst it is still free. It's a bit like a Le Mans start with lorries trucks cars etc trying to beat the deadline. My son recently moved from Kent to Norfolk, he timed his removal journeys to beat the charge.
