Hi,just about to change my English driving licence over to Spanish. Have forms, but now need to get photos. Have looked on here and most people have said you need passport size photos (32mmx43mm) but looking on the form is States size of photo needed as (26mmx32mm) so now dont know what size is correct, passport size is easy to get but don't want to take that size and end up with it being rejected. can any one tell me uf they went with passport size and if so was there a problem. Guess taking both sizes with me is an answer. But would be nice to know the correct info on this.

Get them done at the opticians by the garage in the centre of Quesada. Tell him it's for a driving licence and he'll do the correct size and background. Think it was about €5.

Shop above Supervalue by the golf course does them. The photos are slightly smaller than passport photos.

We recently changed over to Spanish licenses. Had photos taken at opticians near Quesada petrol station, they seemed same size as passport photos. No problem, when you go for medical they take your photo which ends up as the photo on your Licence. We didn't do the process ourselves but used ORKE in Los Montesinos, it all went perfectly and was totally stress free. Compared to doing yourself it is more expensive, but much, much more relaxing.
UPDATE - Licences received this week - took just under 2 months.
