Car Parking Alicante Airport

Normally leave my car at rear of house when back in UK. Considering taking out an annual parking contract at Alicante airport as I do not like asking neighbours to regularly start the car etc. when we are not out for a few months.
Whenever I do use long term parking I always use AUPA however their annual charge is quite expensive though I have to say their service is excellent.
Would welcome recommendations from anyone who uses long term parking at Alicante airport. :text-thankyouyellow:

We have used "Opencar" in Quesada for our hire cars over a number of years now, after being fed-up with being given a very expensive tank full of fuel with other companies, and have found them well priced, friendly, helpful and fair.(They only charge for about a third to half of a tank, usually about 25 euros, and the car can be returned as empty as possibly)

Here's the web address for anyone interested: http://www.opencar.es/

We sometimes pick up from the airport and their shuttle service is good. The cars are parked just around the back of the airport in a secure area and the transfer to and from the airport takes only 2 minutes.
Opencar also suits us because we can pick up or drop off in Quesada too if we want and any possible problems can be sorted in the office in Quesada first hand, if need be.

Sorry I digress, Theboundary -To answer your question. Opencar also do airport parking:

We haven't used the service but in the secure area where we pick up our hire car is also their long term car parking too. It may be worth a look at their prices and the service on this link - you can also go in to ask about the service in the Quesada Office near the petrol station. They are very friendly and are Spanish but speak perfect English:

Not sure how the prices compare but hope this helps.

Jan.

We have used PlaneParking when visiting the UK. The beauty of this company is that they meet you at departures, take your car and park it and are there waiting for you with the car when you return. I have just "googled" them : plane parking sl. Alicante and they are quoting €300 a year.

Thanks Guapa that might be good option. Sharon have never used Plane Parking however the 300€ is quite expensive so need to consider options. Thanks to everyone for taking time to reply. Much appreciated.

Hi, I would like to contribute that I have used Claus Parking, ( alicanteairportparking.com ) for several years, 13 trips per year working abroad and several visits per year to the UK.
The service is 24hrs, 365 days and I always get a pleasant reception and they fit my sometimes unusual schedule, (arrival and departure within 24hrs on occasion, averaging in the region of 38 individual pick up services in a given 12 month period), and Claus just take it in their stride.

The rates are certainly the most competitive I could find and I would recommend their no frills, robust and friendly service to anyone who needs just that.

Still 300€ a year which Theboundary felt overpriced.

That makes my suggestion overpriced too but often it's good to have lots of comparisons as the price is not always the only thing to go by.

Thank you everyone who contributed and who may still contribute to this thread.

This link from above is the one I have used and has been great for the times I have used them, if you want a 12 month contract you can get them from 250 euros with other companies, I have a leaflet with some details but can't put my hands on it at the moment so will post when I find it.

Cheers
