Hi, I've just bought a property in Quesada and was wondering how best get some furniture over.
I'm considering driving down in a hired Luton van and returning it back to the UK.
Has anyone done similar or found a better way ?

There are quite a few firms offering one way rentals, hire in UK and leave it in Spain (or the other way round). Save you the return trip.

try j-hire excellent company , they have loads of options ,even over a driver assist if required , used them very helpful

Transit van and sail to Bilbao and flight home seems the best option.

You could also get a van load to take back or someone who wants a van to take goods back to UK

Yeah Freddo I cud but this will be a hired van for 4 days...about £600....so if I wanted to return it to UK wud prob cost about another £300 just for the van hire plus ferry etc. My wife and I cud fly back cheaper.
The deal I'm looking at is a one way trip to Quesada in a van and prob fly home.

If you could get you stuff in pallet size even 6ft high and 4ft* by 3ft3" crate up with cheap fibre board on ...door to door service ..I was quoted £277-inc vat and ins.the timber you use could easy be sold in Spain,as it's far more expensive..the company is speedshift ...o8455190270..they can do other sizes..ime going to use them in the new year ...oh. they guarantee 4.to seven days,and have tracker..

Hi bri,if you've not done the drive before ,give it great thought..it's a.big job.mate .I hated it when I did it and would never consider it again... sat nav vital .I didn't have 1 ..ime to embarrassed to say how long it took me in my truck from Santander..good luck bri .

Hi again bri..I've priced what you are gona do ie. Van hire + ferry fuel Rd tolls..close on £1300.is a lot of dead money if your working and factor in lost earnings b jeez it's mad. Again good luck mate ..
