Hi Does anyone know anything regarding Tow Bar Law.

Getting a Tow Bar fitted by Ford dealer including fitting and ITV is around 680e (fixed Tow Bar). We are thinking of getting ours fitted in UK by Ford Dealer for 430.00, would this be recognised as being fitted by Ford Dealer although in UK, would we have any problems getting the paperwork added to our documents.

Is the 430 in sterling if so by the time you have added the cost of an ITV the cost will be the same so have it done in Spain and save yourself the hassle

€180 fitted with paperwork sorted for ford connect last time I checked at feuvert near carrefour.

Just one think, would that be recognized by the police as I was told unless it fitted for the relevent dealer ie Ford it would have to be removed before ITV etc.
