Help with a car in Spain

Hi cars are mind boggling in Spain.
They appear to be a lot more expensive if bought in Spain.
Could someone help. I am thinking of driving a LHD over from uk which is already registered in Spain and has EU lights on it. What do I need to do when I get to Spain apart from insuring it?
If I chose one that is not registered in Spain what do I need to do

I bought a Spanish registered car in the UK last year. It's an easy process. Pm if you require to know more.

you will need a copy of the previous owners passport and nie certificate
the vehicle documents
proof of car tax payment
itv ( spanish mot ) cert

I would also suggest you do a search of the history which you can do on line even on a Spanish reg car.
