Bwahahaha, this is funny.... I tend to think that driving in the 4 European countries I've driven in is a hell of a lot better than South Africa! I drive my Clients around the UK, and one of them I have driven to France twice and I rode my motorcycle in France, Germany and Spain. Although I must admit that the driving in Germany is by far the best, it's actually a pleasure to drive there. Everyone just knows what they're doing and even at high speeds they seldom have huge accidents. It was me who had to re-adjust when I first got there. But driving in SA taught me to watch out for everything and everyone all the time.

My biggest gripe is the bicycles... my pet hate... they are always in the way, think they own the road and never look left or right! I also think they should be fitted with rearview mirrors! Some old nag was holding up all the traffic the other day, totally oblivious to the queue of cars trying to get past her! In SA there would have been a lot of hooting, shouting and road rage going on!

We also seem to be plagued by very slow underpowered motorbikes ridden by elderly folk, oops just looked in the mirror
Anyway they seem to be on the increase lately
