Buying Car from Dealer

Hi

Can anyone give me a definitive answer as to what ID I need to buy a car from a dealership?

I have gone there today and they want NIE/Deeds or Copia Simple/Utility Bill and Passport.
We don't have Deeds or the Copia Simple as our solicitor is so slow it takes her a fortnight to answer an email, wondered if the Deeds was really necessary?

Cheers

Rick

We recently bought and were asked for Deeds for the Gestor but produced Padron instead

Thank you, so maybe going and signing on the Padron is the way forward. I guess as we are in Lo Crispin we would go to a Town Hall in Algorfa? Do you need to make an appointment or just a case of turning up?

Thanks

Rick

I believe Algorfa is your local Town Hall

Yes, you will need a recent copy of your padron.

I think up to 3 months, but just go to town hall for copy anyway as they're free and no problem.

Except the problem of a long wait.
