Spoof speeding ticket?

Anyone had this e mail from sent from e mail address? The text has bee copied

secretariadesalud maicao-laguajira <[email protected]>



El hecho queda registrado como antecedente en las fotografías mostradas en el siguiente reporte captadas por el equipo de sistema electrónico certificado con número de serie WOP400 el cual muestra que el conductor no respeto los límites de velocidad permitidos en dicha zona.
Por seguridad virtual adjunto encontrara las dichas imágenes (FOTOGRAFIAS_DETECTADAS_No_499251_499252_499253) y multa respectiva por exceso de velocidad.

The e mail translated appears to be for a speeding ticket but I was unable to open the attachments and on checking the senders e mail address above it is in Columbia. Therefore Id be wary of opening the attachment unless someone here can tell me different caution would be best

maicao is a town in northern colombia, the web address is correct, but i cannot understand why it came from the health secretary

You should have deleted it as when you clicked on the attachment you have allowed access to your pc so I would suggest a full scan with Malwartebytes asap

Yes Freddo I agree fortunately my laptop couldn't recognise the file type and couldn't open it but did a full scan anyway

Everything like this is definitely a phishing mail. (how shall they know your Email address?) Just delete it.
