Talk Quesada forum

I would like to take a trip for 10 to 12 days but where do a leave my vehicle within a short walk to the Arches. We have had a coach trip before that picked up at Don Antonio Restaurant but the company we would be using said they would not drop off or pick up from there.
any ideas would be appreciated. Linda

why not walk down and leave your car safe in yr garage. mike

My garage is in La Murada about 35 mins away lol i am fit but not that fit!!

Leave you car at home and get a taxi to the arches ,,,,

its quite a distance to Quesada and we have no taxi company thats local, we did book a taxi once off the internet and it never turned up ( couldn't find us ) that the problem living out in the campo.
I would feel better after so many days away knowing i had my car there waiting.

You will be tired after your trip and I can understand if you are not within walking distance that having your car there will be nice. Have you asked if the will pick up at Consum area in Quesada. All the trips we've done pick up there right outside consum supermarket. Personally I wouldn't leave my car in the supermarket car park for that length of time but there are a few roads nearby you could park.

Otherwise why not park in one of the little roads off of Calle Los Arcos. They are residential roads and could be as safe as anywhere.

Hi Jan ,the tour company will not pick up or drop off anywhere other than their designated stops. I am in Quesada tomorrow so i will have a look at the little roads you suggested, thanks for your advice. Linda

You're welcome. I expect you know the area around Calle Los Arcos but if not watch out for the one way roads/no entry signs as they can catch you out.

Even just off the roundabout outside La Caixa bank or along that road.
