Spanish number plate

Hi does anyone know how easy it is to change a English number plate over to a Spanish one and how much does it cost, appreciate any replies, regards julie

You needs to change the headlamps and possibly the wiring of the rear fog lights.
You then need to have an engineers inspection, an ITV test and pay registration tax and road tax.
Registration tax depends on the book value of the car and its emissions levels.

You dont always have to change the headlights, depends on the car. I didn't have to change mine.
Changing the rear fog light wiring, not the light will cost 30 euros. Graham will arrange for that.
I never paid any import tax either on a £60k car.
I simply provided my P60 and evidence of employment to show that I had been working in the UK prior to coming to Spain.

Graham Shelton sorted it all out for me at a cost 800 euros plus 30 euros re-wiring.

Graham Shelton did ours a couple of weeks ago. We would recommend him. We did have to have new headlights which are expensive at around €450 - total cost around €1400
