I would appreciate any help with dog friendly Bed and Breakfast accommodation either in france or spain with a trip from Calais to quesada.
Any other tips i would be grateful for as well.
AA Route map is showing a few ways to go and not sure which would be the most relaxing and scenic without going miles out of our way and staying on the main journey.

Thanks in advance fellow Quesadians !!!!

Hi,

We have travelled regularly with two border collies and you need to think of the type of journey you want ie get to Quesada as quick as possible or stop and smell the roses. We don't always book accommodation in advance because if it is pouring rain, you may want to stop earlier or if you are still feeling fine, may want to drive further to get to Quesada earlier. If you want to sightsee then you can book in advance and explore. We use booking.com which has a pet filter, and, as most phones these days give free cover in Europe, we normally pick an area we want to stop around mid afternoon and book via phone internet. The app is very easy to use and you can choose a chain type hotel or a countryside b&b, just put in our preference. We have always got a hotel without a problem.

Yes, and most hotels are dog friendly. We even were able to take our spaniel into the attached restaurants too. I don’t think it’s so easy in Spain tho.

Try this hotel http://www.booking.com/Share-ZUFTWK
It’s the best we’ve ever stayed in - genuinely people and pet friendly!
We do the trip regularly with 3 dogs! Have fun.

Most motels along the route allow dogs, we stayed in premiere classe motels and regularly saw dogs with their owners. Some charge a little extra but most just charge for the room.
