Myself, my husband and son relocated to the Beautiful Costa Blanca in September from Jersey in the Channel Islands. As the Spanish authorities will not allow my husband and I to gain Spanish driving Licences without taking the full test, we need to find an English Speaking instructor to get us Spanish test ready. I want to acquire an automatic licence and my husband manual. Our son also needs to have lessons as he does not have a driving licence. We need to be sure we get a reputable instructor so would appreciate recommendations from people who have firsthand experience especially form anyone who has been in a smimlar situation. Help, advice and genuine recommendations appreciated

Although I cannot help with the recommendation being asked about I do think that the next problem faced will be the fact that the examiner will only speak Spanish thereby negating the need for an English speaking instructor. Sorry for being negative. Could the OP transfer the Jersey licence to a UK licence which would then be recognised???

Thanks for th reply. To gain a UK license would have to prov we had been resident for 185 days in mainland UK. A loophole that has been closed. ;)
