Don't get caught driving in flip flops either

Not sure if it is coming into law; already here - or just one of those rumours!! I've heard that there is a zero tolerance if anyone has had anything to drink and they are stopped! Also, again don't know if it is a rumour but everyone is telling me that I must have some spare bulbs in the car!

You don't need the spare bulbs anymore. Most cars now have sealed headlights and you can't easily change a bulb when it's gone. I think the need to carry spare bulbs was cancelled about 2 or 3 years ago.
The new head of Traffic in Spain has proposed that the drink drive limit be cut zero. Not law yet but may be coming. Apparently, around 45% of drivers who were killed in traffic accidents last year were over the limit or tested positive for drugs. Scary!
