I need to change the registration of a vehicle from my husband's name into mine. Unfortunately he passed away a few months ago and I am not sure of the process I need to go through to do this. I will be selling the vehicle so do I still need to do this? We have a home at Marquesa golf but are not resident. Can anyone advise please. Thank you

As long as you have all of your husbands documentation you may get away with not transferring into your name as you will be charged for this, speak to your solicitor in Spain who will be able to advise what to do.

See a lawyer or you could get possible ownership problems as the car is in your deceased husband’s name.
