Talk Quesada forum

Can anyone help? We have been looking but havent yet had any luck in finding a company to transport our UK car to our property in quesada. I know we could easily drive it across ourselves but its just not possible right now as im about to have a baby.

Anyone used any companies to do this?

Spanish cars are so overpriced it makes more sense to bring ours across.

By the time you purchase fuel and pay the ferry and if you are going to drive through France, the tolls, I would say £400 is a bargain!

agree in some respects,
but we wish we,d brought our uk reg car over to spain , knowing it was a reliable guaranteed mileage vehicle ,knowing its history ,would have been a better bet for us,to have headlights and re registered,,,,,,,,,but doing that would have meant running it forever as it would be worth nothing in spain 10 years down the line with it being ex uk car ,but it would have worth for us,Spanish seem to keep there cars forever.

Hi Louise, I brought my UK car to Spain using a specialist company called Cartranspain. They do regular crossings and I found them very helpful and highly efficient. They picked my car up from a car park at Gatwick airport and delivered it to my door in La Zenia.
Cost was under £700 which is almost the same as ferry ticket, fuel, road tolls, overnight hotel etc; and it saves you the long and tiring drive. Check out their website!

Thankyou Paul, this company have quoted me £1000 but then collection is north east England ..perhaps we can negotiate with them ! Thanks for the recommendation
